Today I got a taste of what I hope to be in my future career as a cop/DEA. I have this friend at school and he has been using pills. So a few days later thay where on 24 red devils and they kept turning around saying “I tripping out so hard I’m so out of it I can’t stand up” We made a deal that if they do anything and I find out I would go strait to Doug and tell him what’s what. So I was thinking and they had already made a promise to not do anything and hear they where on some. So I went and told Doug that this was going on and he looks at me and says, “If you want to you can pull them out of class and talk, or I could just pull them out of class but tell them to go to Doug’s office.” I said that I would talk to them and make things go as smooth as I could. I call them on the radio because they where out in P.E.

When they came up the stares they asked me what’s up. I told them to come hear and have I sit by me. He asked me what’s going on, what do you need me for. I told them that I have talked to Doug and that I really care about there life and this is the same road that I took and look where it has got me. I want them to make the right choice. Plus Doug is my best friend and he is really understanding and an ausome guy give him a chance lets go talk to him. They keep saying, “Do you know what you have done your sanding me to secure care” and the thought that ran in my head do you realize what you have done. They where so mad at me and I thought he was going to hit me or kick me but nothing happened. I got up and told them lets go in Doug’s office and talk to him.

So when we walked in Doug’s office and he asks what’s going on? They say from what Mark has said you already know everything. I hate how it made me feel but I know it is the right thing to do and I wouldn’t change it. As they where walking out I said to them I love you. I was thinking these to that I want what’s best for them and I’m sorry that this has to happen to are friendship.

If I had twenty million dollars, I would donate it to the cancer fund treatment, give fifteen million dollars to the treatment fund, and keep the rest of the five million .The reason why I would do that for the cancer fund is because I have a family member (my aunt) that is diaignosed with cancer and I would want the CDCP to find a cure to get rid of the cancer so my aunt wouldn’t go through chemotherapy.

I would really like that to happen so cancer can be easier to get rid of. So all of the people and kids won’t need to suffer any more than they have too. The people who have cancer should get some kind of treatment That won’t cost that much for them of course but all of the financial crisis were having so there medicare wouldn’t cover all of it. Then the patients wouldn’t have a problem with the fifteen million dollars that found the cure.

The cancer patients that have really have bad problems with the cancer, lets say leukemia, and they wont to undergo treatment for it. They shouldn’t because the doctors have an antibiotics for the pain I think they should let the patients have some of those painkillers for the cancer. That’s my Idea if I had twenty million dollars so all the cancer patients could get their treatments and so the CDCP could find a cure to kill the cancer.

My hero is my dad and my brother, Reece. It has been us three for a very long time. They are there for me… most of the time. My bother joined the navy last year. He went into the seals. So he left for California to do the boot camp, and then went to Florida for more training. I miss him a lot. My dad got a little sad when he left, which I completely understand. I talk to my brother all of the time, and he still gives me advise. He is my hero because he still sticks by me, even though I’ve messed up a lot.

My dad is my hero because he understands pretty much everything that is going on with me. Since I’ve done pretty much everything he did at my age, he tries to listen. It is great that he listens to me, and doesn’t yell at me. Although he did charge me with theft last year, I know why now. I hated him for a while after that, but I know why he did it. My dad and I make fun of our selves and don’t really like to be around a lot of people, but he taught me how to be myself and not follow others foot steps. I made my own path, and all I did was hit some bumps along the way. I know my dad and brother are there for me, if and when I need them there.

I was asked one time “what happens to you is your own fault”. I disagree with that statement because if you have no control over the thing that happens then it is not your fault. See I don’t think that people realize the difference between the things you can and can’t control. I believe that people are so worried about what going to happen next and I don’t blame them because not everything gives you a choice of what to do. 85% of the things that will happen will give you a choice. The rest of it doesn’t give you a choice at all.

I was abused and neglected as a child and I had no choice in what happened to me. When I hurt others, it’s not like they really have an option. If you had a choice, nothing but good would happen to you, right? Life doesn’t work that way in my opinion because I think life was meant to be hard. If life was easy then what would be the point there would be no difference between anyone really because most everyone would already know everything there is to know. Life is full of heartache, surprises, hard work, and glory. Once we realize that life is not our way and that we are wrong sometimes then life will go a lot easier. One more thing, in life you need to set priorities straight, see who your real friends are, and help those who need it no matter who they are.

I think books a very important, especially good ones. I think a book is good as long as you are interested in the main character, and you identify with him or her. I lose interest as soon as I think about how the main character is pathetic and annoying or the story doesn’t matter.
Books are so important because they make so many thoughts and ideas available to us wherever we go. I can take a book with me and enjoy almost anywhere I go. Books are important because they transcend languages as well as surpass time and circumstance. This is one of the reasons we read so much in English.

Another reason we read is because we get new ideas and a deeper sense of appreciation for the thoughts of others. Books are necessary because a person hundreds of years ago in a foreign place writing in a foreign language can express their opinions and ideals to us today in America.
The point of fiction I think is to express reality outside the realm of reality. In other words you can have a real situation exist when it ever happened in the real world.

If I won $10 million in the lottery and I had to donate $5 million to charity. I would donate it to either primary children’s or a foster home with kids who don’t have parents or family. I would donate for their Christmas and for there cloths. I would want it spent on the children because so they can have things themselves.

What I would do with the $ 5 million that I have is I would use a million or two for a nice house with a lot of land for my animals and for a race track for my motorcycles. I would buy me some nice cars and a camp trailer for camping. I would buy me some four wheelers and some motorcycles. I would go back to racing. I used to race and I would get back into that. I would do a lot of things. I would go to Egypt to see the temples and pyramids, and France to see the sights. I would love to go to all of the greatest wonders of the world. I would also like to go swim in the Ocean and go scuba diving.

If you had 10$ million dollars, ask yourself.. What would you do with it? You have to donate at least half of it. Who would you donate it to? Studies? To help cure a disease? How would you benefit you?
I would donate my money to the Foster Care Foundation. I’m in Foster Care and the state isn’t the most fun thing to belong to because of the rules and not being able to see your family because of their stupid mistakes. The reason I chose this foundation was because of how hard the holidays hit me. Christmas especially. Not having parents to go and wake up Christmas morning to see what Santa left you. The look on their face when you get exactly what you wanted, is priceless. They know that they’ve made you happy. But being in the system, you don’t exactly get the same experience. Most foster parents will get you presents and there’s the whole sub for Santa thing. However, it’s not the same if you don’t bond that well with your foster parents. Luckily, I do. That doesn’t mean that I love Christmas the way I used to when I was younger. But anyways.. I think that the state should fork over more money to make the holidays better for us.
Presents don’t make your life better, but it will definitely ensure a better Christmas. While the foster parents children are getting presents from Mom, Dad, Grandma, Grandpa, Aunts, Uncles.. on and on and on and on, you get your 3 gifts from sub for Santa. It makes you feel left out. All I’m saying is the money that is donated to the system should be given to the children, not to “better the system.” Because they aren’t.

If I won 10 million dollars and I had to donate half to some charity or something, I would donate it to wildlife funds. It would go to various states in the west and mid west to help protect wildlife and the areas that they live in. It would also go to help the population of certain animals in certain areas; I would have a lot of it go to the wetlands in those states too. This would preserve the hunting opportunities for our future and maybe even make it better then it is today. With the other half I would buy everything I have ever wanted. It might sound greedy but yes that is what I would do. I would buy tons of property in the west, northwest, southwest, and Midwest. I would hunt on all that property too, I would put it to good use with lots of wildlife and trails to ride on. I’d build little cabins on all each piece of land so that I would have somewhere to stay when camp on my property.

Well everything seems good but ugh…yesterday I thought that my caseworker wasn’t going to come up,so I went to do some errands I. Then I come home to see the rest of the stuff my caseworker brought to me. I couldn’t believe it because I really needed to talk to her about some issues. I’m having little bit of problems I’m having up here. But I just can’t stand it when people don’t tell me things that I want to know.

And I was counting on her she thinks that by showing and leaving without telling me or giving me the 411 wqas not important to me. I can’t believe she just bailsout on me . She does this all the time not telling me what is going on with my family or when do I get to go home . Or be placed with my sister that what I hate about people who don’t give me any answers . even the caseworker I had before her he didn’t give me any answers I’m the only one who asks the questions but get no answers pretty sad though.

Even when I ask people about what is going on with the problems that my family and I are having with each other they just blow me off with no given piece of a little answer or just saying that I might be leaving soon but NO!!.That can’t even do that for there own client that there working with, the same with my procters I ask them one little question about when my “so called” tribe members will come and see me reasons but nope they just skip off another subject that’s why I don’t understand some reasons why I’m in the program.

I think that I have some kind of power that I can feel something so much that it happens. It’s a big coincident that something like that would happen. I was so shocked and overjoyed with happiness. The night before I was talking to Regan about girls and how much we thought about them and things of that sort. I also told him that I have never felt thing way about this wonderful person in my whole life. We talk about what we are going to do when we get out of the system. My plan was going to be finding her and ask her out and be with her for as long as we could. Being in this class made me feel wired because of last year and how much we talked plus I sat where she is and she sat where I am.I am in AYS group home for another six months and being around girls is or could be a big problem. I hate the past and look forward to the future and ways to bet there and I will never go back to the life that I once had.

Is there more than one way to do service? Yes. The fact is there are more ways than one to do service/show that you care. There is charity a famous one that rich people do it all the time. Giving money to people who need health care or who is poor it is very common of the rich to look good. Like me last year I did two types of service because I had the school and everyone in it recycle cans. The money was given to an orphanage in Thailand. I did a service to the community with recycling cans. Also I did charity with giving the money to the orphanage. There are so many ways to do service like time is a good example. Also last year I went to the assisted living across the way from Summit. I went t visit the elderly for two hours (if not then pretty close) with my rising stars class. I remember this one lady I visited was named Joyce she was very polite and she shared almost her whole marriage life with me. She shared how she lived during the great depression, how her husband died, and all about her kids. It was a really neat experience. If I could I would go back and relive those two hours it felt so good to be visiting with her.

I was asked one time “if you won 10 million dollars but had to give half to charity. Which charity and why?” and my response was I would give it to those in foster care and to those who are I orphanages. My understanding they don’t get to see their families which I can have some empathy for them. I don’t know exactly how they feel but I do know what it is like to not be able to be with your family even need or even want to.

Holy War

This next weekend is rival weekend in college football! In my opinion the Holy War is the most exciting and entertaining of them all. BYU and Utah will clash in a rivalry that has captured the attention of the nation about four years ago. I’m ready and nervous for the game.
The teams are closely matched again. They have both played well. Utah has had a suprising season and won games they were favored to lose. BYU was a disappointment for me this year, and many other Cougar fans. No team has a sizeable advantage over the other. Utah does play at home. It is a rivalry game. All bets are off.
If BYU is to win this game they must step up on D. If the Cougars can get a swagger and a chip on their shoulder on the defensive side of the ball; they will win. Max Hall, Harvey Unga, and the rest of the offense will get the job done if they can get the ball.
If BYU wants a chance at a BCS bowl they must beat Air Force this weekend, and then Utah the next. All you blue fans need to rise and shout because our Cougars are out, and on their way to slamming Utah!

I am wrighting about if victor will create the female monster, if the female monster will like the male monster, and if the mail monster will ever find peace.

Well I am not sure when he will finish the female monster or if he even will create it. I have not read the whole book but I would hope that he does make her because I think that it would help the male monster by giving him someone to love. It would also help him to leave other people alone. He could live in the woods by him self. On the other hand why should he make a girl monster when he left the guy monster? He didn’t take care of it.

I think that the monster will find peace if victor makes the girl monster the only thing is that the female monster might not like the male monster and then there will be two monsters on the loose killing people.

Halloween

I believe that Halloween is a great holiday because as a kid I always looked forward to dressing up and going out with my brother to get all the candy we could. It was really fun to decide what we wanted to be, who was scarier, and then at the end who had the most candy. Me and my bother always had a blast going tick or treating, I’d have to say the funnest time was when my mom took me and my brother out and she drove us around all the neighborhoods in Springville. We both had a little more then a pillowcase full of candy. It was incredible how much candy we both had together. Back then I didn’t know it was possible to get that much candy in one night but we did it. It was also really fun because we got to go with our mom who we didn’t get to see very much. After we got home my brother, my mom, and I all watched scary shoes on TV and ate candy.

I feel it applies to me quite a lot because it’s the vary thing that I do and some time I get so caught up in all the work that I have to do. With out even procrastinating I feel like I’m sinking in a ocean of papers. I keep learning that lesson the hard way and it sucks. I wish I would listen just not have to find out that way it has hurt my family and friends I think more than I know. I have a huge problem with “PIG” problem of impendent gratification. This is how I do things play know and work super hard at the last minute before it should be turned in.
What I think it means to live in the present is to not care for what tomorrow brings or even think about what could happen. I think it should be 30% past and 70% with the future so you can still learn from what has happened and all the things you could change and improve upon. You might get caught up in the one for to long and not focus on what is important to you. It has made him so in the future that he is not even thinking about the present and not planning how he is going to accomplish the tasks at hand.

I really like Halloween. It’s the funnest time of the year to be scared because of all of the superstitions that surround it. What really kind of irks me though, is how people complain and don’t like it. “It’s a waste of money” “there’s too much candy and junk” blah blah. Look, people, it’s not like there’s a law that requires you to celebrate the holiday. Some people may say, “but the kids like it blah blah all their friends do it blah blah”. If you don’t want your child participating in the commercial way of Halloween, then teach them about the more traditional way it was done and about what Halloween is originally about. Halloween, originally called All Hallows Eve, is about celebrating those who have died in the past year and paying respect to them.
Of course, as most things do, one event lead to another and BAM! Here we are with another commercial holiday. If you think about it, it is really the only day of the year in which teenage girls and now even younger girls can dress like sluts and get away with it. I didn’t realize that until recently haha.
Last Halloween my friend and I dressed up and Galinda and Elphaba. Galinda is Galinda the good from the Wizard of Oz and Wicked. Elphaba is the Wicked Witch of the West in Wicked. We got her green face paint and painted her face and hands and neck green. We also sprayed her hair black and her sister made her an awesome costume. I got a wand and a long blonde wig. Also her sister made me a nice pink dress to fit it all together. It was hilarious when we showed up at our friends Halloween party because we had told them that we were coming as lesbian lawyers.
This year was awesome too. We just dressed up as each other (which was funny, she looked way more pregnant that I do lol) then we went up to the Castle Theatre. The Castle Theatre is an amphitheatre up in Provo. There, we watched our stage crew/drama teacher and some old friends who had graduated last year, perform in the play Sweeney Todd. It was awesome cuz our teacher was playing the lead role as Sweeney. AAAh I love that play. Haha so does Russ.

Where I’ve Been

These past few months have been really CRAZY! I’ve been moving around a lot. Some things happened in my foster home and they thought it would be a good idea to remove all the kids from the home. So I was placed in South Jordan. It was supposed to be a temporary placement because I was in the process of getting adopted. Long story short, the family wasn’t approved by the committee so I stayed where I was. I really didn’t like the home so I kept asking my therapist and caseworker to let me move back to where I was before in Eagle Mountain. They finally listened to me and realized it would be beneficial for me. I also wanted to come back to Summit. I’m trying to graduate early so I can get my life started. I’m not in a program so I don’t ever get to go home with my family. I want to know where I’m going and what I’m doing so I don’t feel so alone in the world. I also went to Alta and Bingham High this year. If you ever have a choice between the two of them, Bingham is the way to go. So now I’m back.. That’s pretty much it.

Well what I feel about President Elect Barrack Obama wining the election against Senator John McCain was good. But I don’t think he is ready to be our president because he hasn’t had enough experience, like John McCain has for almost twenty-seven years in the senate. And Obama thinks that giving health care to every one will be alright, but I don’t think that is a very good idea. because you’re giving it to drug addicts and homeless people and by doing that he is taking money from the people who have retirement funds and from the national government , (the U.S. treasurey) which I know will cause a big inflation on our economy and the taxes would be rasied up and making our U.S. dollar worthless to other countries. And he is taking the troops out of the Iraq war, which will cause a much bigger problem because the Taliban and al queda leaders will reignite the war in Pakistan and afhganistan or I should say the Middle East. The reason why I wanted senator john McCain to be president was that he had good ideas for our nation, (not saying that our country isn’t bad right now.) but the problems were having the financial crisis were having . And having a war with the middle east and its getting really bad for us right now and the house foreclosure’s in the nation and the three major car dealerships are in tough times right now. so our country is in the hands of president obama and his administration. And we have been in this place with the Reagan administration and those years were good and john McCain was in his Cabinet and he knows good techniques then Barack Obama, obama wants to bring the troops but that like “ A big white flag of surrender”. And senator McCain wants to make that place a stabilized country, and the plan to fix our economy, the health care plan issue really didn’t come up for him because he really hadn’t had a thought about that issue. And that is my opinion for john McCain for president

Two summers ago me and my best friend broke his wall out of his basement and dug forty by fifteen feet under his garage and then we made mixed some cement up and made walls. He ordered a hydraulic door which we made in to a wall; also I bought a keypad with a finger scanner. Next we put in grow lights in then built planter boxes and hocked up the water. Put in a couch in the back with a coffee table and my projector and screen with his Xbox 360. A week later the plants popped up and four months later I started to sell it and going to all sorts of parties I thought I had the life until I woke up and came to.

The consequences for this life style was and is damaging to the point that my mom wouldn’t give me five bucks for anything because she was so scared that I would buy drugs. To get back the trust of family members take a long time and it sucks. I wish kids these days could learn from others and not form getting caught doing it. Drugs are vary bad and they hurt your family, if not you. So that’s why I have decided to be a cop and try to get in the DEA and stop people from using drugs and from going down the road that I did.

I had gone to court yesterday for my review. I wasn’t completely sure how it was going to go on. I was doing what I was supposed to, and passing all of my drug tests. I was coming to school, and going to work… but my family was in court with me. That was what made me a little nervous.

I didn’t really know how to react to that, when I saw them. I knew something was going to happen. Judge Noonan called on me to see how I was doing and if everything was going good. Of course, I said everything was fine; I had money saved, good grades, actually going to school, and passing my drug tests. She was so impressed with that she was speechless. It was actually kind of cool. But then she asked about home visits and my family.

I had to tell her I haven’t been on a home visit since August. My family doesn’t call me, or my foster parents, caseworker, or anything. So I stopped trying to fix things with them. My Judge asked if it hurt my feeling when my parents canceled the visit I scheduled before court, and I just said, yeah a little bit. So then Judge Noonan turned to my parents and talked to them. My dad’s new wife just started crying and acting like she just wanted people to feel sorry for her. She kept going on and on about my past and what I’ve done to hurt her and my dad.

It just kind of makes me think about a lot about my past, when I’m trying to forget about it and move forward. It just bugs me when people bring up things that happened years ago… even months ago. So now my family and I have to start all over and figure out how we all are going to move forward before my next court date in February.

I am not sure what kind of life I will have outside of the group home. See I have been in-group homes so long I am afraid to talk young ladies especially if they are the slightest bit attractive, and even the ones that I don’t really find attractive. I guess the reason is because I have been around guys for the past several years of my life. So I guess I have turned shy in front of females my age. I mean don’t get me wrong I like some of the young ladies my age but I am afraid of saying/doing something dumb. I am very self-conscience and I don’t deal with rejection or embarrassment very well. I guess I have always been shy because I have never really had a girlfriend, and it was because I never really could act socially acceptable around girls. I would either say or do the wrong thing. I never really had friends who were girls either I just need to gain more guts.

The best thing I like about Christmas is all the happiness and joy. I really like to spend time with my family at that time. My dad and grandpa have a four-wheeler and pull me and my brother around on a tube. I have a lot of fun.

My grandpa has a big driveway. He has a bobcat and he lets me use it to plow the snow with it. I started using it last year and I’m already good at using it. He taught me how to use it and he just has me do all the work with it. I really like plowing the driveway with it because I just make a big huge pile and make forts out of it.

I had a really great Christmas last year. I spent it with my grandparents and on Christmas Eve I opened three presents. I got some games for my x box, some movies, and a great big k-nex rollercoaster and me and my grandpa built it in less than two hours. People say Christmas is the best time of the year and I would agree because that’s when you get to spend time with your family. I usually make my grandparents things for Christmas. I LOVE CHRISTMAS!!!
