Integrity

Integrity is what you do when nobody is watching,, and I think another definition is do what you say, and say what you do. I try to live an honest life by taking accountability when I am either confronted or when I am doing something wrong.

I believe that my grandfather has integrity because he almost always does the right thing, and he has done that at least my whole life, and from what I’ve heard his whole life to. He also has been there for me many times when he said he would, and that is why my grandfather is my hero because he has a lot of integrity and has shown it. He has retired from four separate jobs just to keep his family fed, and to keep a shelter on their head. My grandfather also told me to be grateful which is hard sometimes because sometimes I am as well as others in a difficult situation every now and then and when times get rough:

In the holocaust a lot of people die,
Even the some wish they could fly.
They had worked all day,
And got no play.
They worked their tails off,
And didn’t get to fight Adolph.
In the end they all were hurt,
They had been in dirt,
But now some are saved and have the scares,
And now they drive home safe in their cars.
Just a little something to remember when times get rough that you for yourself need to be tough.

James that was a good paper you wrote. Everyone has hard days and they work through them just like you do. You also help me with my hard days as well, and I'm really grateful for that. I thought that poem you wrote was also awesome.
