We can easily manage if we will only take, each day the burden appointed to it. But the load will be to heavy for us if we carry yesterday’s burden over again today, and then add then add then add the burden of the morrow before we are required to bear it.
By John Newton
I feel it applies to me quite a lot because it’s the vary thing that I do and some time I get so caught up in all the work that I have to do. With out even procrastinating I feel like I’m sinking in a ocean of papers. I keep learning that lesson the hard way and it sucks. I wish I would listen just not have to find out that way it has hurt my family and friends I think more than I know. I have a huge problem with “PIG” problem of impendent gratification. This is how I do things play know and work super hard at the last minute before it should be turned in.
What I think it means to live in the present is to not care for what tomorrow brings or even think about what could happen. I think it should be 30% past and 70% with the future so you can still learn from what has happened and all the things you could change and improve upon. You might get caught up in the one for to long and not focus on what is important to you. It has made him so in the future that he is not even thinking about the present and not planning how he is going to accomplish the tasks at hand.

You're really good at putting your thoughts into a way that everyone can relate. I ALMOST completely agree with you when you say that your thoughts should be 30% past and 70% future. You need to add in the time that you should be thinking about your present. It's the time that you're actually living in, so it should get the most thought and care. Plus, you never know if you're going to make it to all of your future plans. 2012 is on it's way lol. But anywho, that was great! Keep writing

This was a really good blog entry. I think that this is one of my big problems. If we spend all of our time focusing on the past we won't have a future. Keep on writing.
