Who is Responsible for kids doing drugs? In my opinion I think everyone is responsible for them selves. Neither parents nor schools are responsible for the kids doing drugs or drinking. When teens do drugs they like to blame it on others, when it is really their fault. Yes, drugs are tempting but if you really are against them and you don’t want to do it then you can resist the temptation. You just have to have a strong will power.
Most parents, or some parents, know what their children are up too. I think they should just care more about what they are doing. But teens are responsible for themselves and their own actions.
To prevent abuse on drug related issues, I think some parents should just maybe pay more attention and talk to their kids and maybe the kids will see that doing drugs will not help really anything. But not like testing them daily just talking to them and being involved would probably help. The child should be able to trust the adult to where they can talk among each other without a problem.

wow! I so agree! I think no one but the person that did drugs or alcohol should be the ones held responsible. I think whoever decided to smoke or drink or whatever knows what they are doing before they do it so its there fault. They knew the precautions.

I think your right and wrong at the same time your right that its not the schools falt but you are wrong about the its the parents falt not all parents have control of what the kids are doing.

i agree with you i think it is the kids own fault not the parents. but some times the teachers can help the kids and the parents can too

I think that you were right about people being responsible for themselves. someone told me that once a person reaches a certain age they become their own person and after that point it's what they choose to believe that they go by. I think that the parents should do certain things to test their children but it is usually the children's responsibility for what they do.
