In a lot of 3rd world countries there is no education and a lot of the people living there cant even read or write. A lot of kids in the united states don’t know how lucky they are to be able to read write and go to school, even I am ungrateful sometimes. I think that everyone should be able to have the chance of an education. I took three years of German and I didn’t take advantage of it and I can only say a limited amount of the language, I wasted three years because I was ungrateful for the chance I had and thought nothing of it. Now I wish I could go back and do it again so I could actually learn all that my teachers taught me. I’m taking this as a lesson learned and I am going to pay attention in class and learn what I am being taught, or at least try. I am not going to waste the next years of my education on goofing off and sleeping in class. This is my time and I am going to use it wisely.
