Freedom is one of the greatest feelings in the world in my opinion. Everyone wants some freedom some time in their life. Freedom feels good when you’re using your freedom for a good thing. Some people like to use their freedom badly to do dangerous and stupid things like stealing or doing a crime and that’s not the way to spend your freedom. Besides, if you do a crime, then you will just lose your freedom.
Freedom feels good when you have it. I love to have freedom because I get to spend the time that I want to do whatever like listen to music, play games, eat a lot of candy ect.
I’m in a group home, so I don’t get much freedom. I can’t go wherever I want or hang out with friends when I want. The only time that I really get freedom is when I’m on a home visit, and I get to play games and eat whatever I want. When I have freedom and having it makes me want to scream Freedom!
Some people don’t like freedom at all. Some people who get in programs tell that they don’t want any freedom because they did a crime to get in the program. Some people just make a mistake and get in a program.
Freedom is a great feeling to have in the world because no one can tell you what to do especially when you’re some place that you really like to be like in California or at a family member’s house.

What do you do when you have so much pressure on you, and everyone expecting you to excel past everyone else? Why do I need to be perfect for them? Why can’t I be me just me and nothing else? Everything I do I’m always told I can do better. I try and end up failing more then I have when it was just me doing my thing. I let people down whenever I get close to stepping out of this hole that I have dug for myself. I slip, and fall down deeper. I don’t know what to do anymore, and there is so much pressure with these last couple of months for me to excel past everything, be better then I ever have at anything, show people that I’m not this bad person. It’s a good thing but there is so much pressure I’m afraid of cracking and letting every person that believes in me down once again. I keep saying to myself no matter the pressure, the anxiety, I can do it. I will excel past everyone’s expectations even my own because I know I can.

I have a BIG problem with procrastination. It’s always been a big issue I’ve tried resolving, but the problem is so bad that I’ve procrastinated fixing my procrastination problem. It’s actually kind of funny though. Sometimes I actually think I’m going to do my work on time and once in a great while I do! Deep down I know that I’ll hold it off as long as I can. You always think to live in the moment, but with a lot of things in life I’ve come to learn that you have to think about the future and whatever your goals may be. Think of the steps you need to take to achieve whatever it is you want. Procrastination doesn’t always have to be a bad thing. Not knowing what’s going to happen next is exhilarating to me. I’m more of a spur of the moment kind of girl, and I love it. As much as I have my serious problem that someday I will fix, I still love living in surprise.

WHY DO PEOPLE PROCRASTINATE? Procrastination is bad and sometimes good. Lots of people procrastinate; lots of people don’t procrastinate. Sometimes people that procrastinate can get in trouble; sometimes they don’t. People that don’t procrastinate usually get their work done faster than people who do procrastinate. There are times when I procrastinate and I don’t get my work done till the very last second. So I get in trouble with teachers and other people. But then there are times that I don’t procrastinate with my work and get my work done on time, and everyone is happy with me. So here is a question for you, are you a procrastinator? Why or why not? I can be a procrastinator sometimes and sometimes I’m not it all depends on what my assignment is and weather or not I will turn into a procrastinator.

To me procrastination is when you need to do something, and you are waiting because you want to do something else. When it comes time to turn it in, you do it at the last minute or not at all. I used to procrastinate a lot. I never wanted to do my homework because I wanted to read or do something else. That is part of the reason that I am here at Summit. I never turned anything in, so I got bad grades and failed all of my classes. I wish I hadn’t procrastinated because I could be so ahead right now. I could have graduated early but that is out of the question now, but it doesn’t mean I can’t try.
I also know that my sister procrastinates. She loves to play, but she has to read two chapters of her book daily. She then has to write three questions, answer them, and draw two pictures of her favorite parts. She usually starts at 9:30 when it is time for bed. Since the book is a biography, it takes her around 45 minutes to read the two chapters. At that point, it is around 10:15 and she takes thirty minutes to write and answer the questions. Lastly it takes her another 30 minutes to draw the picture. In the end, it is about 11:15, and she feels the need to talk! She can get four hours and feel like she got twelve, but I can’t.

I don’t think that suicide is all that wrong really. First, I think that people aren’t all that selfish when they commit suicide. They aren’t all that selfish because they could die to save society or others from themselves. Would you really be all that sad if a murderer or a serial rapist killed themselves? Also, I think it is equally selfish to want to keep a suicidal and depressed person alive. Would you really want to keep someone alive for another fifty years if every day is practically unbearable? What happened to loving someone so much you let them go?

Avoiding Death
I believe that half our life is all about avoiding death. It’s a part of our lives and to me I believe everyone does it, is going to do it, and has done it. I think that there are some people out there that get it into there heads that they can live forever if they just avoid death. Fact: everyone dies. These people get so scared of death that they can go crazy; I also believe that no matter what they say everyone is scared of death a little bit. No one knows for sure what happens to us. I am scared of it a little but I also know it’s going to come and there is nothing I can do to stop it, were all already dead, nobody’s getting out. So the best thing you can do with the one life you have is live it up, seize the moment, and live with no regrets. Remember that everything happens for a reason you’re where you are for a reason.

Sometimes life can be hard to deal with but having someone by your side, helping you makes the difference. Some people cannot deal with life and its troubles. They feel like there is no solution. I think that if you have someone that is there by your side willing to be there for you makes all of the difference. People underestimate the power of a touch, a kind word, an honest compliment, a listening ear, all of which have the power to turn a life around. A support group or a best friend is the best to have with you. To call, in the middle of the night if you can not go to sleep, or if something went wrong that day and you just need to talk about it. I, personally, have a coupe people that I can talk too. Still, I cannot take down all of my walls, and it gets hard sometimes to keep everything inside. People that keep everything to them selves are more likely to develop depression or something similar. It is hard to get out of something like that, especially if you think that no one is there for you to listen when you need to talk to someone or just cry on there shoulder. Yet, people deal with things everyday that are just as stressful as other people do, so my question is… Why do people act so differently with the same issues? They have the same issues but they deal with them so differently.

The Group Home
Being in a group home means less freedom. It has taken me awhile to realize this fact. If I was not in a group home, then I would have a lot more freedom to do what I want. But if I had a choice to stay home or go into this group home I would choose the group home, and it’s because the group home, though it may be hard, has it’s benefits. The group home is a lot better compared to living at home because if I was not living in a group home then only gosh knows what I would be doing right now. When I was at home I went through a ton of abuse I also cause a lot of abuse on others as well. If I was not in the group home I could easily be in prison right now. With me being in the group home I can come to a great school, and I have met some great friends. So if I could I would change what got me into the group home but I would not change being in a group home, coming to summit, and all the people I’ve met.

Is freedom free? Are we free? Okay, so quite often we hear ourselves and others say, “I thought this was a free country!” or just other comments like that and do you really think we’re free? Look back, stand back and look at all we have. You would know we were free if we could just look passed our selfish ways. We are free, free to choose what to wear, free to choose what to think, eat, where to go to school, go to work, live and do what you want with your life. Yes there are things in life that we are not free to do. For example, we can’t steal, kill, endanger, or destroy others property. You know even all of those things you “can” do you just will get in trouble for them. How free would we ultimately be if we got to do everything we wanted? We would be worse off then we are now, believe it or not. So if you look away from the people making $150,000 plus an hour, fancy cars and houses, swimming poles, restaurants, clothes, clean water, expensive jewelry and look at the countries, people, families that have absolutely nothing maybe we wont take our freedom for granted. Learn to appreciate guys because we tend to forget what freedom is.

Freedom is being captured and kept against your will, scared without hope, and lost without faith. No one coming to rescue, just rotting alone. Forced to work and change everything you are. Betrayed when love is needed the most. There is no one to catch you when you fall, for you are not a person but an object of someone’s game. Cry all you want you will never be free. You will forever be kept from what you strive for and be given what you despise. These words are weeps of one who is un-free. One who is forced to partake of things that do nothing but hurt the inner conscience. Freedom will never be mine. I will forever be trapped inside a board game, where my king has already fallen. So life when lived unhappily never sends instant gratification. As far as I am concerned, there is only happiness in my dreams. Where I am at one with my own reality.

I believe that hamlets moral in this play is that revenge is worthless, the only thing that it will bring you is more pain. Hamlets revenge drove him mad, it made him lose the girl he loved, he killed her father and told her he did not love her, which tore her apart and drove her mad. And this brought a lot more pain to him, and he caused all this pain on him. He also sent two of his innocent friends to their deaths because he was crazy with the thought that they were taking him to his death. He killed Polonius and his son Laureates wanted revenge on Hamlet. Revenge is a never ending cycle with a lot of hate mixed in with it.
I believe that Hamlet made a big mistake by trying to take revenge on his uncle, He should have just put in an investigation and seen if his uncle was guilty and then put him in prison. By making this decision he caused a lot of the people he loved most to die, including himself. Revenge will backfire on you

I chose number C, haha. So Hamlet doesn’t treat woman the way I believe you should. I got upset when he is a jerk to his mom and even to Ophelia the girl of his dreams the only thing he has to look foreword to living. When he is disrespectful to Gertrude, I started to feel sad because I haven’t be the best I could have been to my mom the person who carried me for nine months. I think Hamlet was so emotional because of his Dad being killed by his uncle. He was so lost in the world and what to do or think, I would be lost because with how to act also.
The good with Ophelia is that she cared for Hamlets well being and really loved him but didn’t now how to act when he was crazy. The bad I think was she wouldn’t tell Hamlet that the king and her dad where telling her to do the things and spying on them. I think she took the “Easy way out” by killing herself instead of working through the crap.
With Gertrude I feel like he lost respect for her when she married his uncle not even a full two months later when the king had just died. I am pretty sure I would to that is just screwed up to me. The good with her is she …. I think I have any thing good about her. The bad is she just takes orders and doesn’t make her own choices in life. Another is not being up front like when Polonius is in the room listening to them talk she should have told Hamlet he was there and maybe he would still be alive. I really find that disrespectful of people when they do that and even more when I do.

Hamlet said during the beginning that the ghost that told him about his uncle’s treason could have been a demon or a bad ghost. That ghost could have been lying to Hamlet and then he would have gotten revenge for nothing. He would be killing innocent people. He also cannot trust his own friends, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern. They only came to see Hamlet because the King and Queen sent for them. That is not very loyal and then they just listen and do what the King says! During the play, Hamlet is shipped off to England along with a letter meant for the King of England. Hamlet forgets his manners and reads the letter telling the King to kill Hamlet when he arrives in England. He changes the letter so that the King will kill Rosencrantz and Guildenstern when they arrive in England. This affected the plot of the play because that is two people that are dead.

As soon as Polonius found out that Hamlet was plotting revenge, he would run off and tell the King about Hamlets plan and the plan would be all ruined. This affects the play because the death of Ophelia and Polonius brings Laertes and Hamlet against each other. This forces Laertes to join the Kings side. Plus the fact that two more people are dead.

During the whole play he is seeking revenge and defiantly acts upon it. His father, the king, gets killed and comes to him as a ghost telling him what happened. From then on Hamlet takes it into his own hands to get revenge. So he sets up a play about the king’s death to try and trap the killer and a bunch of other things that are just bazaar. I mean if I was him I would try to get revenge, but he goes all out. By the end all the characters but about 3 are killed. So is revenge that sweet? No.
Another message this play brings is just how much drama life is. I think this is a great play just showing real life. No joke life is filled with drama, trials and tribulations. Life isn’t easy and this play really shows it. They don’t sugar coat it either. It’s pretty intense. I think that anyone can get several different meanings out of the play Hamlet. I know I had gotten a few meanings, messages, or morals depending on what you want to call it. Some background of the play the king of Denmark, Hamlet Senior, dies and his brother Claudius marries his wife Gertrude.
The first message on my list is love. Now I don’t necessarily know hardly anything about love, and it’s because I’ve never really felt it. In the play, Hamlet (the main person) is in love with Ophelia there relationship was good. Then Ophelia’s dad Polonius wants Ophelia to stay away from Hamlet, and to give back all the stuff he had given her. So Hamlet starts to act all crazy because he thinks he has been betrayed by Ophelia. Hamlet says/acts like he doesn’t love her anymore. Ophelia goes crazy. Then Hamlet kills Polonius for spying on his conversation with his mom. After Ophelia drowns herself because the person she loves yet can’t be around kills her father.

The main theme of Hamlet is how different people’s actions can affect you and others around you. In Hamlet there are displays of hatred, sadness, and affection. These emotions are shown by all of the characters.
Hamlet finds out how his father, King Hamlet, was really killed by his uncle. His uncle married his mother shortly after. The dominant theme of Hamlet is about revenge. Most of the movie is about revenge and getting back at other people. First King Hamlet dies by Claudius, and Hamlet suspects that it’s him. So Hamlet has tried to get back at him but never knew if it was him or not. So Hamlet has tried to get back at His uncle and go crazy. Because of revenges that went on their was a lot of deaths. As much as we would like to think that being rich, loved and admired by everyone in the town could be the best thing ever, there are a lot of downfalls in this also. King Hamlet was favored by many. He was a very good man, until his brother decided to kill him to gain the power that he held. Who wouldn’t want the power that he had and who wouldn’t be jealous of a sibling that was loved by everyone more than you? Hamlet, the son of King Hamlet, begins to put the pieces together and plans revenge against his uncle Claudius. Most of the time, we only see the good parts of being king and queen. Let’s focus on some of the parts that could convince you that this isn’t the best position to be in.

One reason is the basic fact that if Hamlet had acted immediately on the news that his uncle Claudius had killed the king, Hamlet’s father, and taken over the throne of Denmark the play would have ended with the first act. I seem to have a few peers who tend to really care for me, and they are important in my life. Here are some examples of what they do, who a few of them are, and why they are important to me. First person I will mention is a good friend, and she has shown that she really cares about me. Around a month ago I told her I was thinking of suicide, and she gave me a light tap on my cheek, assuming it was a pretend slap, and she said “don’t ever think about that”. She is important to me because she helps, she is willing to be there for me, and she wants me to succeed. She is very nice, and she is one of the coolest people that I’ve met. She knows who she is.
The second person on my list he is a way good friend, and he mostly shows that he cares for me. He has gotten mad at me once, I think, through our whole friendship, and he wants me to succeed. He has actually said “I would be willing to take a bullet for you”. This kid is like a brother to me.
I have more people on my list, but these two in particular I would be willing to do anything to help them succeed (within reason). I trust these people with anything. With me my world revolves around people who care about me, and the people who I care about. My biggest fear is being alone without any friends.

Valentines Day
Personally I do not really care for this holiday. I think that it is a day where stores make money. Why do we have a special holiday to show our love to people? Shouldn’t you show your love for your partner or whoever everyday? Red, and pink are the Valentines Day colors and they are everywhere on this holiday. I don’t really understand on why people love this day so much. On this day, you are supposed to be with your loved one giving each other flowers and candy. You can do that any day of the year. I think it means more when you get/give flowers on a random day, showing that you love them; rather than on a specific day. I guess, this might just be me, but having a holiday that is all about love is not the greatest idea. What about the people that don’t have anyone that loves them. It just makes them think about what they don’t have. I got roses yesterday from my boy-friend, and I completely wasn’t expecting it. He knew I wasn’t going to expect it because I am not a big fan of this holiday. Anyways, you should express your love to someone any day not just one out of the year.

I think that betrayal is when people take the trust that has been given to them and use it to get something at the other person’s expense. For example. I betrayed my victims because I used their trust in me to manipulate them so I could sexually abuse them. Another example is C.Y. Robi Ph.D. He was giving me sex offender treatment, and he gave me a psychosexual evaluation (a test to see what level of care I need). His test said I should stay with him in a level two, paying him one hundred dollars a week for treatment. I went to an independent tester, and she said I needed level six treatment. So here I am. He betrayed me by sacrificing my treatment for money, I betrayed my victims by causing them to suffer depression, anger, self hate, and confusion by raping them.
To conclude, I think that betrayal is low and dirty. I think that it should be avoided like the plague and society will be better without it. I’m working on not betraying others so I can make this world a better place.

What is betrayal? I believe that betrayal is hard to explain. I would say it is kind’ve like being a traitor. I believe that Rosencrantz and Guildenstern did not betray Hamlet. They didn’t know that they were taking Hamlet to England where he was going to be assassinated. I think Ophelia will be very upset about hearing about her father’s murder. I believe that she will be pissed off when she finds that hamlet was responsible. How will Hamlet escape his assassination in England? I’m guessing that he will run away when he gets the chance or has one of the people that is transporting him let him go.

What is betrayal? Well to me betrayal is when you tell someone something that is really secret and then they go and tell everyone. For instance one time I told a friend a really big secret of mine and then she went and told everyone and it ruined my entire school year. Then I had to live with the big secret being blown and everyone making fun of me for the entire school year. But now at this school I have learned not to trust people after I made a couple mistakes and it got all around the school.

What I think about Valentines Day is that I like it because my family always gives me candy. I really love candy on Valentines Day especially chocolate. I never really had any family Valentines Day traditions but in the past I have woken up with a basket full of candy on the side of my bed with something that I wanted in it.
When I was little my mom would get me a toy that I wanted, and a lot of candy in a Valentines Day basket. My plans this weekend are the same, but on Saturday I’m going to eat a lot of candy that I get from my family and play video games. But it’s really the same as every weekend in the group home. The only good thing is I get to play video games for 4-5 hours eat a lot of candy and have a lot of fun
. For the talent show I’m playing the guitar in it and my family is coming from Salt Lake to come and see me. They’re going to bring me a lot of stuff for being in the talent show.

(Now I actually read the things that people write to me because the things that they say matter to me.) It still does not change the way that I feel about Valentines Day. The fact that the whole holiday is focused on love does not appeal to me. In fact, I think it is quite annoying.
There are good things that come out of Valentines Day though. One of them is that you can make cards for your family or send them gifts. It is better when they are there because you can see the reaction of your gift. I like to get up really early and make breakfast for my mom. Then we can make gigantic cards and hang them on her wall before she wakes up.
I love helping my little brothers and sisters with the boxes where they put their valentines. I stayed up until eleven thirty last night because the elementary that my sister goes to is holding a contest for the best looking valentine box. We made a radio/tape player where you can push a button and the tape case opens, and that is where you put the candy. I hope she wins because she will get a king sized Symphony candy bar and she really wants it. These are all of my reasons that Valentines Day is good, but that still does not change my opinion on it. I think I will always dislike it.

People need to be able to keep their mouths shut about certain things because somebody couldn’t keep quiet one of my best friends might be going to secure. If he goes, he will be in there for at least a year. That’s a year without someone who has helped me through this, without someone who knows exactly where I come from. But also in a way I think that it will be good for him. Maybe this will be his turning point and he will realize that. Hey I need to stop this or else I’ll be in worse off situations later on in life. I’m going to miss the kid a lot though because he has been there for me the whole time I have been in the program, and has helped me with a lot of the problems that I have been going through. Still people need to be able to be quiet about those things when they know it can get people in a lot of trouble.

We can’t know anything without a doubt. There will always be some kind of doubt to whatever we know or do. No matter how sure we are on what we know there is always a little doubt. But we have to overcome any sign of doubt because if we don’t even the littlest bit of doubt can hold us back. No matter how ready we think we are to do something there is always a little part in our heads screaming at us telling us we can’t accomplish something no matter what the task is, big or small. We will always have some sort of doubt. Like people who skydive, they know what to do, they know the procedures to take, but it’s only obvious that they have a doubt that there parachute won’t open or it will get tangled up. People who ride bulls always have a doubt whether they can stay on for the full eight seconds or not.

In the book I’m reading in my English class, Hamlet, Claudius can be forgiven but will people forgive him. I really don’t think that he should be forgiven. The reason why I don’t think that he should is because he killed his brother which was the king. He killed his brother just to get the thrown to be king and to get his brothers wife.

In this essay I will discuss the good side of school uniforms. There are bad things about having uniforms, but as a school body we are capable of coping with those things.
First I would like to discuss equality and uniformity. One of the reasons there are fights in school is about who is the prettiest. Also about too many pictures of one person in the yearbook. That seems ridiculous to me because it doesn’t matter about looks, it matters about personality. The last point I would like to touch on would be the fact that with school uniforms there would be less profanity presented in clothing. This way, everyone is represented equally.
Second would be their education. They would not have to get up as early. Not getting up so early makes it so that they can get more sleep and coincidentally being more attentive in class. Being attentive leads me into my third discussion point.

First I would like to discuss equality and uniformity. One of the reasons there are fights in school is about who is the prettiest. Also about too many pictures of one person in the yearbook. That seems ridiculous to me because it doesn’t matter about looks, it matters about personality. The last point I would like to touch on would be the fact that with school uniforms there would be less profanity presented in clothing. This way, everyone is represented equally.
Second would be their education. They would not have to get up as early. Not getting up so early makes it so that they can get more sleep and coincidentally being more attentive in class. Being attentive leads me into my third discussion point.

Is giving an hour of homework at night good or bad? If you think about it, giving an hour of homework can be good for some students because it can make it so that they have something to do at home. If they don’t have any friends or if they just want to get ahead in school, by doing extra work for a certain class or for all their classes then that way they can graduate early.
Personally I don’t think that teachers should give an hour of homework unless of course the kids don’t pay attention. Then the teacher can give an hour of homework. For instance one of the cons to having and hour of homework is that it takes up to much time at home. Some people have friends and if they are doing homework then they can’t go and hang out with their friends. Some people might have work and they wouldn’t be able to concentrate on work they will always be concentrating on their homework and they can get fired that way.
Another reason why I don’t think teachers should give an hour of homework is because all those papers take up to much space and a lot of kids will lose some of the papers either on their way home, somewhere at home, or on their way to school. The quote that means the most to me is the one that talks about the fact that people seek forgiveness or want to repent because they are afraid of the consequences, not because they are genuinely sorry about causing pain. I know this is the reason I came out about being a sex offender. I didn’t, and to some extent, don’t care about the many victims and what I have done to them. I only care about not going to hell and suffering for what I have done. Confessing wasn’t an act of bravery but of cowardice.

I believe that there is not really a way to tell if something is for sure. To me there is no way to tell if some one killed somebody for 100% there is always going to be that little bit of doubt in the back of your head at least that is how it is for me sometimes. This really bugs me because it sucks to doubt people if you don’t know they are telling the truth, but then again that is what faith and having trust in someone is for. If you don’t have trust in someone especially in a relationship, then I believe that that relationship will not work. Not knowing for sure rips relationships apart because they do not trust the other person. I believe that you should never go into a relationship if you have trust issues because it most likely will not work out. I have heard of people getting divorced because one person in the relationship does not have trust in their spouse and it rips them apart even though they are both loyal to each other. This is also insecurity. A lot of people that have been screwed over in relationships before have trust issues or are insecure. It’s sad but true.

I feel that the age limit for driver’s licenses is just fine; I believe if it was younger we would have troubles with kids speeding and causing crashes. It is also a good age because sixteen is the age when you can really start working and earning money and a lot of kids may need to drive to work. A lot of kids before they turn sixteen complain about not being able to drive and I used to do it too, but now that I am sixteen I understand why they have an age limit and I still don’t have my license, this can relate to the drinking age that a lot of teens complain about and I feel the same way about that as I do about drivers license but I’ll save that for another blog sometime. To sum it all up I feel that certain things have age limits on them for pretty good reasons and that complaining about them is not going to do any good.

Well my team took on their rival last night, and they won for the second time. They played the Boston Celtics, and they lost the championship game last year to them so it’s pretty heated battle. Well the Lakers are now at a 40-9 record and keeping strong. They play the cavaliers on Sunday and the Jazz on Wednesday. Their only challenge this week will be the Cavaliers. A lot of people think that I like the Lakers because they are a good team but that’s wrong. I have liked them since I was like nine or ten. They weren’t that good back then but I stuck with them and now they are.
Same with the Chargers they still suck but they are getting better. So I believe that the Lakers will finish with a outstanding record and go into the championship game with the Celtics again but win.

I think how long you grieve for someone is up to you. I don’t think it’s healthy to dwell on it though. I think that it is all up to the person but don’t dwell. Death is a very sad but natural thing that we can’t change. So to dwell isn’t healthy, even if it takes awhile to get over. With that parent thing I don’t think its wrong to get re-married, but you should wait a while. I mean no one wants to be alone but you also shouldn’t just jump into the relationship. I would feel HORIBLE if that was ever to happen to me or anyone in that matter but no one should be alone. I think it all depends on situation and person. I am doing an essay on what I think we should do about uniforms. There are a few pros and cons, but I am against them. I will just have to say we should not have them, I’m sure more people are against them more than for, so I will represent.

Im sure there are people that would hate to have uniforms so much they would slough, stop coming or move schools. Don’t give us more reasons to hate school.

How are we supposed to go to school looking all the same and not be able to express yourself? It shows our personality and you can identify people with what they dress, okay usually. We are in high school we are all about getting to know ourselves, getting ourselves out there, and expression don’t take that away from us.
My last thing is well, some would say, “What if there is a predator, they can disguise themselves and come snatch you.” I would have to say that we really don’t have to worry about that in school. We are teenagers and aren’t just going to go with a random person we don’t know. I can see if we were in grade school or maybe even Jr. High that would make sense, but most of us have learned by now to not go with strangers. That is another reason why we shouldn’t have uniforms in high school at least.
The problem is that not everyone would like the uniform and why would we make us students unhappy? I mean teens have a million reasons to be unhappy right now already. It’s the age I think. Ha-ha! Having your driver’s license at age 16 is a good thing to have. The age should stay the same. Teenagers get more independence, can get places faster, and get better job opportunities.
A teenager being able to have a license at 16 gives them more responsibility. Teenagers would have more ways to pay for the car and the needs of having a car; for example, a car payment or insurance. People would have their own choices on where to go and when. Student teenagers would also have more abilities to help others.
Also students could get to places much faster, if they had their license and a car to drive. Students would be able to get to school and work with no problem. They wouldn’t have to walk or take the buses. Getting places faster, students and/or teenagers would have more job opportunities. If they had more job opportunities, the students would be able to pay for the car needs.
Some adults think teenagers should not be able to get their license because it is too dangerous. More accidents occur with teenagers. But, adults have accidents too. Most adults do not want teenagers or students to drive unless they are completely responsible and have experience. Students wouldn’t have much experience unless they start. They can learn to have the experience and be responsible. Having a license is a privilege. That is why the states have the driving tests to show that the students are capable.
In conclusion, having a license is a privilege and teenagers just have to show that they are responsible enough to handle it. Students can get to school and work faster. So yesterday I went to my court review. It went kind of like normal… the usual questions. Are you clean; are you going to school? But my case worker says that my next review will be in June, and it might be my last one I will have to go to. Hopefully I will be fully caught up with my credits by then and graduated. I just have to be graduated, have my license, money in my bank account, and have a place to go when they release me.
I am thinking about moving to Henderson, NV or somewhere in Arizona. I am not completely sure yet. I also went back to the DMV, so I could go and get my permit again. Hopefully, this time I will be able to keep it and not get it suspended or something for about the 3rd time.
So I thought my day was going pretty good. But everybody knows days like that don’t last very long. I got off early last night, so I could see my boyfriend. I got a phone call about 15 minutes after I got off work. Wasn’t the best phone call I’ve ever gotten. My dad’s wife called me telling me about my 1st step mom. She has lung cancer, and she was getting so much better. But she had got sick again, and so much worse now. We don’t know how long she is going to be around anymore, so I am going to see if I can take a trip to California to see her as soon as possible.
Hopefully this all will get better. But every time my day is going like I want something always goes horribly wrong. You never know what to expect.

I happen to disagree with having school uniforms for some simple reasons, like less freedom, can’t show personality, etc… There are plenty more, but I chose three reasons specifically: which are less freedom, can’t show personality, and students dropping out.
My first reason is that if we as students are forced to wear school uniforms then kids will start to drop out. Think about it, if you were a student and use to wearing your own clothes but then the school brought it to an abrupt halt to start uniforms, I’d be willing bet you would be really upset. How do you think the students would react? I’d bet 90% if not 96% of the students would flip a lid.
My second reason is that us as students would not be allowed to show our personality through clothing especially if we have to wear school uniforms. All they could choose about the uniforms is rather they have short sleeve or long sleeve. This is not that big of a deal to a teenager. We need some variety in our lives to spice it up a bit or else it will be dull and boring.
My third and finale reason is that if students are forced to wear school uniforms, then we would have a lot of freedom taken away. Think… why would they have less freedom? I’ll tell you. It’s because they would have only one choice for school clothes no variety. Who would want to go shopping if they could not really show off their new outfits? I know I wouldn’t. Let’s be honest if you bought a brand new outfit to wear to school but then uniforms get put into effect how would you feel?

I don’t think that anyone can ever know anything for sure because doubts are always going to be there. If you had no doubts, then you would not be human. Doubt is there to show that we don’t know everything because we are not perfect. When you have a gut feeling or trust somebody don’t doubt them because when you start to doubt the one you “trust” is it really trust or just a lie? If you don’t trust your friends or family who can you trust? Basically family and friends are like the foundation of trust.
I am personally a strong believer in giving others at least a little bit of trust even if I just barely meet them, and until they break that trust it will continue to grow. Like my friends at Summit who consist of Rachel, Kesha, Regan, Ryan E., Mark, Alex, Rory, and many others. I mean I trust some more than others. Drugs Bad or Good you make the choise because I can’t for you or I would!
I have used, made, and sold drugs in my life and I have had tons of friends that loved my drug use more then me. That is something I vow to stop in my life as much as I can because all the pain it has caused in my life and the person I love more then anything. I was selling weed and making more money then most people that have a real and legal job. I’m left with nothing and have nothing to show for it enless you cut open my lungs.
The life style that smoking the “bud ” gets you will, if not already is robbing your self of the amazing things you could have and you don’t even see or want to see them. It’s hard for a lot of drug users to see that by using drugs you are living for drugs and not life because it has become your life and everything and anything you do. When you start to lie to the people that are the closest to your all by your self and have to fight to stay “high” and “out of it” to be ok with life. What you have caused around you and you don’t think it hurts anyone, wake up not wake a bake. I thought that drugs where number one, I moved out of the best place I could have been at the time, dropped out of school, cut off all relationships with good friends and stopped caring about life.
I hate when people I know that there high and they think they can pull one over me and make me think that they aren’t on anything. Being fake really gets to me and I feel like shit because I have been down that road and I have done the same things. I have had some friends that are only your friend for one common intrest and when it’s gone so is the friendship. At times when your dealer is out, dry, broke or cought up in the system and getting drug tested. He is just another guy with a phone number you don’t call anymore or even think about. I have know some people that well do anything for them self even if that means snitching out others to stop from getting cofed up. After you get bored of just getting high on weed you move up to bigger and harder drugs and that’s when the super hard times start.
Yes weed is in my mind is the least harmful drug out there but still has it’s effects to lead you to other drugs. You can fight this all day if you don’t think it’s true but weed is a gateway drug and dose make it easer to try other drugs. Ya it comes from a plant, it’s natural, bullshit I have grown it and you add a lot of stuff to make it more potent and higher the THC level from about 11 to 24- 28. I have said that I wouldn’t every use drugs and that weed is just a plant. I won’t use any other drugs, but I did and I never started the day saying I want to use “coke” or anything like that. I told myself that I couldn’t get bored of sitting around and smoke a blunt everyday of the rest of my life but I did and it got vary bad, fast.
I hope I have done something to help you from making the same mistakes I have in my life or at least decresing the pain it causes you and others around you. I wish I could fight the battles for you and not let you or anyone else get hurt ever again from drugs. I want to let you know that you are not alone in the fight. I have used, made, and sold drugs in my life and I have had tons of friends that loved my drug use more then me. That is something I vow to stop in my life as much as I can because all the pain it has caused in my life and the person I love more then anything. I was selling weed and making more money then most people that have a real and legal job. I’m left with nothing and have nothing to show for it enless you cut open my lungs.
The life style that smoking the “bud ” gets you will, if not already is robbing your self of the amazing things you could have and you don’t even see or want to see them. It’s hard for a lot of drug users to see that by using drugs you are living for drugs and not life because it has become your life and everything and anything you do. When you start to lie to the people that are the closest to your all by your self and have to fight to stay “high” and “out of it” to be ok with life. What you have caused around you and you don’t think it hurts anyone, wake up not wake a bake. I thought that drugs where number one, I moved out of the best place I could have been at the time, dropped out of school, cut off all relationships with good friends and stopped caring about life.
I hate when people I know that there high and they think they can pull one over me and make me think that they aren’t on anything. Being fake really gets to me and I feel like shit because I have been down that road and I have done the same things. I have had some friends that are only your friend for one common intrest and when it’s gone so is the friendship. At times when your dealer is out, dry, broke or cought up in the system and getting drug tested. He is just another guy with a phone number you don’t call anymore or even think about. I have know some people that well do anything for them self even if that means snitching out others to stop from getting cofed up. After you get bored of just getting high on weed you move up to bigger and harder drugs and that’s when the super hard times start.
Yes weed is in my mind is the least harmful drug out there but still has it’s effects to lead you to other drugs. You can fight this all day if you don’t think it’s true but weed is a gateway drug and dose make it easer to try other drugs. Ya it comes from a plant, it’s natural, bullshit I have grown it and you add a lot of stuff to make it more potent and higher the THC level from about 11 to 24- 28. I have said that I wouldn’t every use drugs and that weed is just a plant. I won’t use any other drugs, but I did and I never started the day saying I want to use “coke” or anything like that. I told myself that I couldn’t get bored of sitting around and smoke a blunt everyday of the rest of my life but I did and it got vary bad, fast.
I hope I have done something to help you from making the same mistakes I have in my life or at least decresing the pain it causes you and others around you. I wish I could fight the battles for you and not let you or anyone else get hurt ever again from drugs. I want to let you know that you are not alone in the fight. Today I’m going to talk to you about music in class. Music can be a huge distraction in class and throw kids off track in a hurry. Also allowing music in class could lead to more thefts of I-pods and stuff like that. Despite these points there are more positive reasons for the subject. Let me explain. Music is Relaxing, can help students concentrate, and allow most kids to stay on task instead of talking.
So my first positive reason for allowing music in class is relaxation. N55ow I know sometimes students shouldn’t be relaxing they should be working right? Well during tough assignments like essays perhaps you need to relax to come up with ideas. Kids would be more likely to listen to their teacher and work if they were doing more of what they wanted to do. There for kids would be a lot nicer in class.
My second point is concentration. Concentration is a big deal in high school you have to be on top of your game in class to get your assignments done. Sometimes it’s hard to think of ways to finish your assignments on time or with individuality right? Well music solves everything I believe just sit back and put in some headphones and start brainstorming up thing so that you can finish your assignments on time.
My next very valid point is staying on task. This is something that every student struggles with in high school making friends, getting girls, and planning weekends. Well guess what if the teacher says pull out your I-pods and listen to your music. Kids are going to be happy and then they are going to stick in their ear phones and pay attention to their work and not other people. I mean of course there will always be side conversations but that’s people not just high school students.
So those are my reasons for having music in class there are strong points to both sides so you have to figure out witch is stronger. I think that music is a very influential thing and has to be used properly specially in school. I hope I interested you enough to get this far anyways thank you.
