Valentines Day
Personally I do not really care for this holiday. I think that it is a day where stores make money. Why do we have a special holiday to show our love to people? Shouldn’t you show your love for your partner or whoever everyday? Red, and pink are the Valentines Day colors and they are everywhere on this holiday. I don’t really understand on why people love this day so much. On this day, you are supposed to be with your loved one giving each other flowers and candy. You can do that any day of the year. I think it means more when you get/give flowers on a random day, showing that you love them; rather than on a specific day. I guess, this might just be me, but having a holiday that is all about love is not the greatest idea. What about the people that don’t have anyone that loves them. It just makes them think about what they don’t have. I got roses yesterday from my boy-friend, and I completely wasn’t expecting it. He knew I wasn’t going to expect it because I am not a big fan of this holiday. Anyways, you should express your love to someone any day not just one out of the year.

I agree with you, I believe that you should show your love for people everyday, not just one day of the year. I think most holidays are just there to be there, i admit i like them because they spice up that month a little bit and it gives people something to look forward to sometimes.

I totally agree with you on this. It would mean so much more if some random day your boyfriend gave you flowers just cause he was thinking of you. On Valentine's Day people tend to "expect" things from the significant other, but I honestly couldn't care less if I got anything. Good job girl! Keep on writing.

my favorite holiday would be thanksgivng. all the food and family....it just doent get any better.
