In this essay I will discuss the good side of school uniforms. There are bad things about having uniforms, but as a school body we are capable of coping with those things.
First I would like to discuss equality and uniformity. One of the reasons there are fights in school is about who is the prettiest. Also about too many pictures of one person in the yearbook. That seems ridiculous to me because it doesn’t matter about looks, it matters about personality. The last point I would like to touch on would be the fact that with school uniforms there would be less profanity presented in clothing. This way, everyone is represented equally.
Second would be their education. They would not have to get up as early. Not getting up so early makes it so that they can get more sleep and coincidentally being more attentive in class. Being attentive leads me into my third discussion point.
Lastly it would bring more focus and attention. They would spend less time worrying about how their clothes look and they wouldn’t have much to do besides schoolwork. Also, like I stated in the first paragraph, there would be less fights over the yearbook pictures.
This is why it would be good to have uniforms in school, as long as we could come together and get over the bad parts.
