Be Who You Are.

In Hamlet Act III scene 2 before the play Hamlet tell his actors “Don’t overdo your acting because it’s against the reason for acting. Whose purpose, now and forever, was and is to hold. To reflect real life, to show what good qualities look like and what bad qualities look like, and showing how out lives are throughout time.”

I think we need to understand the good and bad qualities of our lives and the people in them. To understand, you need to read about real life stuff and things that actually happen. You can also get insight from movies, not only books. When watching the movie we can visualize what they would do in a situation that we may find ourselves in someday. We can learn from both reading and watching.

Furthermore you need to learn about being yourself. Not “overacting” to impress certain people. We should know the good and bad of everything. We need to not dwell on the bad so much, but still know them deep within you (ourselves).

hey rachel,
what's up? well i agree with what you wrote about being ourselves. me i am scared to be myself always worrying about doing something embarrassing or doing something that will offend somebody. i need to work on my self-confidence. so thank you for writing this.
also thanks for being an awsome person and for willing to help me out with my issues. i hope we stay friends and in contact after i'm done with the group home.

I really liked what you said at the end, about 'Overacting" to impress certain people. I believe that if you not being your self to people just to get them to like you, it usually does not work out in the end when they find out who you really are. It is best to always be yourself and have people like or love you for you.

I really like what you wrote, if your not your self then who are you? By being yourself people will like and continue to like you. I hope life is going sweet because when I get out I hope I have a chance to make it sweeter.

some time I try to be just who I am but I just get a negative respond from others but I try to keep my head up and face the fact or truth.
