Nothing about Nothing


We can ever know anything for sure. Some things that we think are for sure can change in an instant and our whole world could end up upside down.

Never be so sure about something because it always seems to change. If you thought you would never get caught and you are reading this, then clearly, you were wrong. I never thought life would change for me, and that I would keep going on like I had. Then I turned nine and everything reversed. People started coming frequently to our house and taking things away. Every day something would get taken away. I don’t know how I knew, but on the 12 of February, six years ago, I was going to be the next thing to be taken away. I knew that I could always run away from where I was being taken to. That way I could take care of my siblings like I always had. I just didn’t know they would be leaving too, to all different kinds of places that I wasn’t allowed to know about. Life changed that day. Do not underestimate the power of everything changing.
