The bird in my window sill
Sings me a song
He paints me a picture
Of his life story
He cries of the hardships
And laughs at the sun
Over everything, his happiness has won.

There once was a girl
Whose life was in a whirl
She had no good luck
Got hit by a truck
Today messed up her whole world

There once was a queen
Who had ruptured her spleen
It was all ok
Come Saint Patty’s Day
She was the only one with gang green.

I like your poems, the first is more serious and artistic, but the second two are fun and creative. Keep writing verse.
