Speaking

If I could download any talent from a computer I think it would be great public speaking. I want to be able to speak to a crowd and make them believe what I tell them. I want them to be devoted to what I thought and willing to do anything to please me. I would want that power so I could make changes that I think and feel are necessary. I want this talent so I could have a position of power. Maybe not necessarily be the leader of a movement, but I could be its icon, champion, and voice.

I want to be remembered after I die. My words could live a thousand years even if I only live twenty years. They would be translated into a hundred different languages and a thousand dialects. People who have never seen my face could recite my feelings about government or God in their native tongue. I want to be able to compel humanity to make peace, or total war. I want to stir the masses into frenzy and cause the middle class to throw off their oppressors. I want to start a revolution. All this is within reach with my new power of persuasion, a microphone, and a keyboard.
